When cleaning and maintaining external furniture, you must first determine whether the rag used is clean. After cleaning or wiping off the dust, be sure to turn over or change a clean rag before use. Don't be lazy and reuse the dirty side again and again, which will only make the dirt rub on the surface of the furniture repeatedly, but will damage the bright surface of the outer furniture.

Choose the right nursing agent

To maintain the original brightness of external furniture, there are two kinds of furniture maintenance products: external furniture care wax spraying and cleaning and maintenance agent. The former is mainly aimed at furniture made of wood, polyester, paint, fireproof rubber board and other materials, and has two different fresh flavors of jasmine and lemon. The latter is suitable for all kinds of furniture made of wood, glass, synthetic wood or Meinai board, especially for external furniture made of mixed materials. Therefore, if you can use maintenance products with both cleaning and nursing effects, you can save a lot of valuable time.

Before the use of wax spray and cleaning agent, it is best to shake it up first, then hold the spray tank straight, at a 45 degree angle, so that the liquid components in the tank can be released completely without losing pressure. After that, spray it gently against the dry rag at a distance of about 15 cm, so as to wipe the furniture again, which can have a good cleaning and maintenance effect.

In addition, remember to wash and dry the rag after use. After special waterproof, sunscreen and anti-corrosion technical treatment, the usual cleaning and maintenance are very simple:

Aluminum alloy: if there are stains on the surface, please wipe it with clean water. Do not use strong acid or strong alkaline detergent.

Teslin cloth: wipe with a rag dipped in clean water.

Wooden tables and chairs: wipe with rags, do not scratch with hard objects, so as not to damage the waterproof layer on the surface.

PE rattan: PE rattan furniture can be cleaned with soft brush, rag or vacuum cleaner to prevent collision and scratch of knife tip or hard objects. PE rattan can be moisture-proof, anti-aging, insect proof and anti infrared, so you don't have to spend too much time on maintenance.

Plastic parts: they can be washed with ordinary detergent. Pay attention not to touch hard objects and do not use a metal brush. Collision and knife tip or hard object scratch shall be prevented. If there is crack, it can be repaired by hot melting method.

Metal parts: avoid bumping and scratching the surface protective layer during handling; Don't stand on the folding furniture to avoid the deformation of the folding part and affect the use. Just scrub with warm soapy water, and do not clean with strong acid or strong alkaline detergent, so as not to damage the surface protective layer and rust.

1) During routine maintenance

Use a clean soft cloth to wipe the paint surface regularly, and don't let the furniture come into contact with acid, alkaline chemicals and oil.

2) Burn mark

Cigarette butts or unquenched matches leave scorch marks on the furniture paint. If the paint is burned, wrap a layer of fine grained hard cloth on the matchstick or toothpick, gently wipe the marks, and then apply a layer of thin wax to weaken the scorch marks.

3) Scald mark

White scald marks are inadvertently left on the paint surface of furniture. Generally, it can be wiped with a cloth wet with alcohol, toilet water, kerosene or tea. If you can't get rid of it, you'd better repaint the surface.

4) Scratch

If the furniture lacquer is scratches and does not touch the painted wood, it can be applied to the wound surface with the same crayon or pigment as the furniture color, so as to cover the exposed background color, and then apply a transparent nail polish to a thin layer.

5) Water stain

You can cover the mark with a wet cloth, and then carefully press the wet cloth with an electric iron several times to fade the mark.

The maintenance methods vary with different materials:

Plastic parts: generally light, acid, alkali, corrosion resistance, good insulation and heat insulation, but poor hardness. Collision and scratch of knife tip antiques shall be prevented. If there is a list, it can be repaired by hot melting method without glue. It can be washed with ordinary detergent. Pay attention not to touch hard objects and do not wash with a metal brush.

Just scrub with warm soapy water occasionally, and do not clean with acid-base detergent, so as not to damage the surface paint layer and rust it.

Tempered glass: do not strike or hit the glass corners with sharp objects; Do not wipe the glass surface with corrosive liquid; Do not wipe the glass surface with rough materials to avoid damaging the glass.
